I might be biased since I will be sharing the same wedding colors, but the black wedding theme Olivia + Andrew has is elegant and beautiful! I see a lot of wedding color trends as a wedding photographer, but I compiled my favorite trends I see getting more popular in 2023. 

Before jumping into the 2023 wedding color trends, I have to share a little more about this stunning couple. When they met in 2017, Olivia knew Andrew was her future husband within the first few months of dating and knew she was in love after 2 weeks. Fast forward to 2021 and Andrew proposed to Olivia and of course, she said YES!!! Olivia knew she found her person and she was correct from the start. 

The cherry on top of this wedding day, was the black theme. It was incredible to see their vision come to life especially since I have a similar vision for my very own wedding day!

Wedding Color Trends for 2023

• Modern Black – It is crisp and clean, plus makes any wedding even more elegant.
• Emerald green – Green is flattering on most people and stands out in photos. It gives your a moody vibe without being as dark as black dresses.
• Sky blue – Blue is making a huge comeback in 2023! Whether it is a light blue wedding color theme in spring or a darker navy in fall, you will see a lot of shades of blue. 
• Sage green – This wedding color emphasizes the beauty of nature and amplifies the floral arrangements. It is simple yet stunning. 
• Terracotta – This color was popular in 2022 and only getting more popular! This rusty orange color has depth that captures everyone’s view.
• Dusty rose – Blush pink was popular the last few years, and heading into 2023, its cousin dusty rose is taking over! It’s a little darker and makes more of a statement brides are going for.
